Start with the Basics

So I've gotten a blog. My roommate Amy and I were up til about 3:30 or so one morning, and decided to make me a blog. So here it is. Spiffy, huh? Anyways, I guess I'll start off my first blog with just telling about where I am in life right now...the exciting things that are happening, and just the basics...
I just had my 19th birthday on March 25, and it was amazing. I've probably felt the most loved on this birthday. It all started at about midnight on March 25 with Reese's peanut butter cups, peanut butter icecream, and dancing in the street:) That foreshadowed all of the other wonderful things that happened on that day. Let's see...I'm almost finished with my first year at BYU, and I am loving it here. It's a really fun environment to be in for college. And I have the best roommates in the world...and I'm not exaggerating one teeny weeny bit. There's Melinda, Christina, and Amy. Melinda is my room-roommate. We met, and it was like love at first sight...haha. Christina is an all around amazing person...she's probably one of the most sincere people I have ever met. And Amy is amazing. She makes me so happy:) I seriously love my roommates so much. They have become some of my best friends, and I feel really lucky to be where I am with them right now. Anyways, I'll write more about them later on, but for now we must go on.
What else is there to know about me and my life right now? I'm majoring in astronomy, and am in love with it. I haven't gotten far into my major yet with my classes, but I'm excited to, and feel good about it.
I miss my family a lot, but I'm loving living on my own, and being independent. Living through these fun new adventures is something to treasure. And I'm really happy to be out here in Utah with my best friend from home Kirsten. This summer will be our first summer apart. She will be back in Maryland, and I will be staying out here in Utah. We've been trying to plan out how it will work, so we will just have to see I guess.
Well I'm pretty tired, and feeling pretty sick, so I'm not sure if much of this blog was cohesive. If it wasn't I'm sorry. I will be better in the future:)
